I am a conservationist, an outdoors enthusiast, an amateur wildlife & landscape photographer, a neophyte bee surveyor and a volunteer at RSPB Rainham Marshes and with the British Dragonfly Society.
Hills, mountains, grasslands, meadows, heaths, lakes, pools, fens, and bogs are my habitat (did I miss anything?).
I like to find bees, dragonflies, butterflies, other insects and sometimes even birds.
I also like to make photographs and timelapse video of the wildlife and places that I see, and sometimes record the sounds of the beautiful outdoors.
I live in London, and volunteer at RSPB Rainham Marshes, where I do my best to share my enthusiasm for wildlife with others, and where I also carry out surveys of bumblebees. I also volunteer with the British Dragonfly Society.
This is not a commercial website - there’s nothing to buy, I’m afraid - but I hope that you enjoy looking at my photographs and timelapse videos.
A note about editing
Please note that I edit my images to enhance their beauty, not necessarily to strictly represent the scene in front of the camera. Having said that, my edits are never extensive. Apart from the obviously composite images and two focus stacks, the most edited of my current images is the Thames Sunrise, which is a HDR and has had some distracting clumps of vegetation removed from the edges.
